@George,

@shewolfnm,
I remember bob and tom.

they got cancelled off the radio here because I think they told austin to go F themselves or something.

weren't they the ones who would talk about ass sweat? Maybe I'm thinking about someone else. These guys were on in the afternoon.

when stern was on the radio here I listened to it for a few minutes here and there. He got boring really fast

@chai2,
listened to stern from about 97 until he moved to sirius (2004), the last few years were bad, i'm not gonna lie, and i had no interest in paying for him

That site records the first three nodes of the poster's IP addr.
His is definitely UK.

@djjd62,
You disagree, dj? I've always been vaguely bothered by that "ask an expert" thing.

@patiodog,
well, i'm not really an expert, but i pretend to be one on the internet

honestly i've never given it much thought, if i'm looking for specific advice i go to sites more in line with the advice i seek, not a message board

Same here. I enjoy doing Latin translations, but sometimes the requester will
tell me that it is for a tattoo. Yikes. I quickly explain my lack of credentials.

@patiodog,
Hey, you're an expert.

It's certainly not the only thing going on but I have gotten scads of good (expert) advice here.

I agree with Soz that you can get useful, "expert" advice here. I also agree that i don't think the site should advertise itself with "ask an expert."

@Setanta,
It's a social site. Even if you get a good expert-type answer, you'll have to put up with a lot of waggery in the process, that's all. Like djjd, I look elsewhere for quick, concise, reliable answers. Well, unless my water softener breaks down. Then I'll likely be here.

It's more of an "ask the anonymous mob" site. You might get an expert, but you might not.
