NRA Says Yay Oh Boy More Kids With Guns Yay Cool Bitchin'
Mark Morford 9/26/03
A 15-year-old boy opened fire on students at their high school in Cold Springs, Minn, killing one and critically wounding another before a gym teacher apparently talked him into dropping the gun.
Meanwhile over in Lawndale, N.C., two shots were fired inside a middle school as students were arriving for class Thursday morning, but no one was injured, and a student was taken into custody.
And all this only two days after that 17-year-old kid from Spokane who was "angry at everything" fired a handgun in a high school science classroom before aiming the weapon at a SWAT team officer, who then shot and critically wounded him.
In response, the NRA looked around nervously, twitching and fondling the nearest long phallic metal thing, cooing softly, and announced that guns are still really really cool and should be easily available to everybody at all times and just think, if "all" the kids at those schools had been nicely and heavily armed, they could've totally blown away those shooter kids into bloody macho pulp before they got out of control! Yay guns! Guns rule! More guns for everyone! Guns guns guns! Whee!
