One of the cops who works security off duty at one of my karaoke shows is on the way to Iraq...he has less than a year to serve, but the way it works is that he has to stay a year at least in Iraq so his time in the reserves is automatically extended as long as they deem he needs to be there....this comes directly from him.......needless to say he and his wife and child are delighted.....
