i am an american who is hired as an "au pair" to work in london but my question is how much do i have to pay for work permit and insurance? how much is work permit? i was told by a agency that it costs 400 pounds
someone help me please(: im confused!!

Why didn't you obtain this information before you even considered working in London? You need to go to a government agency in London to inquire about licensing and the paying of any fees and or taxes. Good luck.
