There is something wrong with the American healthcare system. It costs far too much for far too little and universal healthcare coverage alone isn't going to fix this.

It certainly looks that way.

(I wonder what percentage of the costs are being absorbed by the insurance industry & private hospital costs?)

I'll be very interested to learn more about why health care is so expensive in the US.

Cuba's health costs really stand out, too. The other end of the (cost) spectrum.
