Can you look at this map and say Israel does not systemically appropriate land?

Well, then it's of course okay that he gets beaten, since he's obviously from one of the lowest classes of US-citizens.

That is certainly a non sequitur. Further, Arab-Americans are not considered to be from a low class of US citizens. In general, they have pretty successful in our society.

Regarding his having been beaten, it would be interesting to know what actions of his, if any, brought this about. One allegation is that he attacked the police.

Well, in such a case beating is of course legal.

@Advocate,
If you had any feelings about how Jews suffered under the German race racism, you probably would understand it.

@Advocate,
No, Advocate, Walter just trapped you with your own words. And you're either not bright enough to realize it, or you are a liar who is willing to try to bold it out.

An Oralloy, if you will.

My feeling is that it was people like you who reveled in the Nazi slaughter of Jews and others.

@Advocate,
As regards Walter, you have absolutely nothing to base your feelings on, Advocate.

But your own words, and your support for folks like Oralloy, have long illustrated that you would support such an action against anyone fighting against Israel's tyranny.

@Advocate,
I never advocated someone to be kidnapped and burnt alive - something you can understand. But perhaps such really will stop the Palestinian terrorism.

However, at least Netanyahu isn't your opinion at all! In his condelence letter to the family of the murdered youth he wrote:
"I wish to send my condolences to the family of the teen and promise them that we will find those behind this horrific crime and bring them to justice. There is no place for such murders in our society."
And according to latest news, they found those Jewish right-wing extremists.

@Walter Hinteler,
Notice how Advocate thinks that Israeli police are justified in administering a savage beating if the victim has committed a crime. Despite being put under house arrest for nine days he's still not been charged with anything.

A police force should not administer beatings, regardless of the (alleged) crime, punishment is supposed to be meted out by the courts, in a democracy anyway.

Good Luck on Tuesday Btw.

@izzythepush,
What democracy? The one that our government has the chutzpah to push on the American people about Israel? LMAO

The Obama administration's actual record is far more instructive than its critics' politically inspired rhetoric in providing guidance in this year's presidential election campaign to those of us who care about US-Israel relations. It is clear that under President Obama's leadership, as he has repeatedly reassured both Israelis and Americans, the United States has consistently had and "will always have Israel's back."

I never made such an outrageous claim. I said what should happen in a democracy. Apartheid states aren't democracies.

What about states that let their PMs get away with war crimes? Are they democracies, Izzy?

Here again you're only a follower of the extreme right: even Israel's ambassador to the USA called it "very disturbing". "Excessive force is not something that we accept in Israel."

He was not filmed throwing stones, or even resisting arrest, he was filmed being held down and kicked in the head.

A police officer is human, and can be pushed to using serious force in the face of assault and battery, or protecting someone else from this. I think that Israel is about the most humane country there is. Israeli police are not Nazis.
