Has anyone in the world not heard that....

YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO WRITE IN ALL CAPS?

Seriously. Do you think there is anyone out there who has not read, told or been otherwise informed that typing in all capitals is not desired.

Whenever I see someone do that, I think they're pulling my leg.

Here's another one...
Has anyone not heard that having unprotected sex can get you pregnant?

What else is so obvious you can't believe everyone doesn't know it/heard of it?

When you travel the wide world, nothing is obvious.

Ignorance is a common lot. Fear of what people don't know is widespread.

Even here, in this ecclectic forum, some believe that Americans never put a foot on the moon..

So, I'm not at all surprised that people ignore basic stuff.

I MUST DISAGREE! UNPROTECTED SEX WILL NEVER MAKE ME PREGNANT!

I told a friend of mine "exercise is good for you". He replied, in all sincerity, "the jury's still out on that".

You're quite right about that fear Francis. Some people are afraid to ask how to do something, or why, for fear of looking foolish. So they do whatever it is incorrectly and cause people to think they are inept. This hits close to home for me right now, as I'm dealing with someone (who doesn't report to me, unfortunately) who to this day will say she's "still learning". She's been here 10 years.

We landed on the moon?

I was at the gym, and overhead this conversation between 2 potential playboy centerfolds....

Bimbo 1 - oh, let's go, the aerobics class has started.
Bimbo 2 - I don't do aerobics anymore, I do cardio.

Some years ago, my s-i-l, (who was a smoker, and is no longer with us) actually said that there was never any evidence that cigarettes caused harm to anybody.

@chai2,
That "pulling out" is not a method of birth control (at least one that is effective).

I know. I figured I'd get it out of the way.

There's one in every crowd, I might as well be it.
