Grace Kelly - Dial M for Murder
Andrea Bruschi - Dove
Earl Montgomery - Zip and Zest
Donna Pescow - Ivory Tower
So did I ever tell you about the summer stock production that I worked on with Donna Pescow? It was Guys and Dolls, and she was Sara Brown. Joey Travolta (John's brother) played Skye. This was in 1984. Our PR lady told the local press that John was coming to opening night! He wasn't, she lied, but it got us lots of publicity - a Saturday Night Fever reunion that never happened...

I like that little picture too!
Donna was pretty good in G&D. The production was pretty rough - summer stock always is. Joey was the temperamental one - actually, he just didn't like me, so gave me lots of problems...
Question coming up...

Your story reminds me of a friend of mine who worked (production) on Fun with Dick and Jane. She said George Segal was a &*^%$ and that he too hated her!

I know a little Yiddish, but didn't find anything for Burt Reynolds. He was in a German film called Auf Herz und Nieren. Are any of those words Yiddish?
John Lithgow - Shrek
Judi Gassel - Oy Doctor!
Nell Cohen - Insomnia + Seltzer = Pain
Ronn Carroll - The Real Shlemiel

No, those words look pure German. You got em'. Burt Reynolds was Shamus, which means "detective"-American slang. In Hebrew it is a promise. Your turn! BTW--------> the picture is of author Isaac Bashevis Singer. One of my favorites!

I love Singer's work! But I didn't recognize the picture, and I forgot to ask...
I only knew Shamus as the Irish version of James, so I went right by it.

I'm slow about Oscar-picking! And I still haven't seen About Schmidt, The Two Towers, and a couple of others that are nominated for the major awards... so, probably not today anyway. But, hey, we have until March 23rd to talk about it!
