Gary Cooper - High Noon
Barry Jones - Seven Days to Noon
Owen Wilson - Shanghai Noon
Charles Bronson - From Noon till Three
Too bad Max wasn't here for this one. We had a lot of fun with High Noon in that long-ago game.

I vaguely remember that! (Oh, and yes to Noon.)
I have a class that starts in a few minutes - and might last the rest of the afternoon. Hopefully, Max will turn up to play with you!

I've got some time to play this afternoon, since all I'm doing is sitting in my office, looking out the window at the falling snow and wondering when they'll let us go home. My guesses are:
McGregor: Velvet Goldmine
Baxter: Rags to Riches
Warren Beatty: $
Bogart: The Treasure of the Sierra Madre
Stewart: Pot o' Gold

Ya'll will think we are so silly. Here in the hillcountry we have a 60% chance of an hours worth of snow. And all the local news networks are covering it. Pathetic ....aren't we?

Not pathetic, max: the local TV stations here get pretty excited when we get an inch or two of snow, so it must be a really big event in Texas.

I was thinking of The Fortune for Beatty and The Jackpot for Stewart, but your answers are better, Bree. Your turn.

Dick Van Dyke - Tubby the Tuba
Troy Donahue - A Distant Trumpet
Kirk Douglas - Young Man With A Horn
For Henry Fonda, the only one I can guess is a TV movie. Would it be Gideon's Trumpet?

I was going for Drums Along the Mohawk for Henry Fonda: I know it's kind of a stretch, but I couldn't think of another brass instrument, and marching bands usually have drums!

Of course. I can't remember how many times I've seen Drums Along the Mohawk.

You're right, I don't think there is a movie with "director" in the title.
I'm about to head out, and I don't know when I'll be back, so I'll pass the next question to mac or max, if that's OK.
