Leto - Requiem for a Dream
Robards - Dream a Little Dream
Kline - A Midsummer Night's Dream
Depp - Arizona Dream (Neverland and Nightmare on Elm St., just in case)
Bridges: Tucker: The Man and His Dream and See You in the Morning

I wasn't looking for a hint, Mac. I really wanted to know where you got your bed. Laughing

lol, I considered refusing to answer your question until you'd answered this one! But no, I was going for DREAM. (Because I'm afraid that peace is just a dream... Sad )

Raggedy, I thought Emily Watson was outstanding as Viola in Twelfth Night. As Sonya in Uncle Vanya, she didn't have as much opportunity to shine, since she was playing a character most people (including the man she's in love with) usually don't even notice is in the room. But I guess you have to be a pretty good actor to come across as drab and self-effacing, when your natural persona is so much the opposite.

Did you ever see The Luzhin Defense? It features one of my favorite Emily Watson film performances. It's based on a Nabokov novella about a crazy Russian chess genius (played by John Turturro), and Emily Watson plays a woman who falls in love with him when she meets him at a spa in Switzerland (or Italy -- I can't remember) where he's gone to take part in a chess tournament. It's definitely worth catching if it ever shows up on Bravo.

bree - I just added The Luzhin Defense to my Netflix rental queue - with Emily Watson and John Turturro, it must be great! I've really liked her in everything I've seen her do.

I agree that Sonya in Uncle Vanya is a thankless role. I once saw a great production and I swear that that Sonya had the ability to turn herself off and on like a light switch. She could just disappear and reappear seemingly without moving a muscle.

Max, thanks for your encouraging thoughts about peace. I'm pretty discouraged about where we're heading right now.

Thanks for the tip, Bree. I've made a note to watch for The Luzhin Defence to show up on Bravo. Although I usually don't pay much attention to what critics say (I've enjoyed too many movies that they panned), I just read Leonard Maltin's review and he gave it a good rating. And, if you say it's good, that's enough for me. Very Happy
