I'm just thought of a fantastically mean one. I'll wait till i get one right though.

Are we allowed to use the internet on these, or memory alone?

We definitely use the internet on this thread, Daf. Some other threads don't approve of that practice. Very Happy

We enjoy a challenge, but if it's really really hard, we might get mad! Laughing

Yes to Lily Tomlin. Flirting with Disaster was the correct answer for birth mother. The other film in which she was a secretary was Beverly Hillbillies. Very Happy

Yes to Jane Fonda, Max. Jane is identified as a spinster governess in Old Gringo, but I know you hate that word. (lol).

LOL, Mac. Max started it with Bette Davis as a spinster in Now Voyager. You were in complete agreement. But, hey, we're all in agreement here at the movies. Laughing

I hate the word spinster. It is archaic. In a world with women like Janet Reno & Condilesa Rice (spelling wrong) it is just stupid. After their many accomplishments would you label them spinsters? Its just plain stupid. OK let me think of a question.
