yes , new year's resolutions may harm your health !
so now you can't sleep in peace at all .
you resolve to better yourself - NOT GOOD FOR YOU !
you resolve to keep drinking , eating ... as if there were no tomorrow : NOT GOOD FOR YOU !

i think i'll deny that one year has just ended and another has just started .
it should simplify life a bit .

perhaps the best advice we can give ourselves is NOT to listen to all the advice the "experts" are trying to give us .

Resolutions 'bad for your health'
Deciding to turn over a new leaf in the new year could do more harm than good, a mental health charity has warned.

Mind has urged people not to feel they must start 2009 armed with resolutions for self-improvement.

The charity said resolutions which focus on issues such as the need to lose weight or job worries create a negative self-image.

someone must have watched a 1964 movie and decided that it's time to have a foundation based on the movie's title :
"Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb "

Gentlemen you can't fight in here. This is the war room.

I agree that resolutions are a pain in the ass.

This year I resolve to have a nice glass of red wine with or after dinner each day. For my digestion, you know....
