What is the difference between human interest stories and feature stories?

I'd say the emphasis placed on the humans in the story, as opposed to the hard facts.

An article about a pet store opening might be a feature story. Another slant on the same store about how the store rescues pets, has an physically handicapped owner or relies on donations is more of a human interest story.
