Holy crap

here's my girl - I get her back in a week - she's been in quarantine for three months - she's not massive physically - but my GOD= the HEArt OF THAT DOG...i CAN'T WAIT

She looks so much like my Rufus it made me cry. He was 14 and crippled with arthritis, had to have him put down last July. I had his vet come over to my home because I could not stand the thought of him dying in a back room on a steel table. My wife and I laid him under his favorite Maple tree where the vet gave him an injection that made him sleep and then one to stop his heart. Rufus passed on with his head in Rene's lap while I sat beside stroking his back. He was my best friend .... I miss him so much

I recently saw two dogs that are as bigger - or at the very least matching the largest - than any of the dogs in those pictures. Huge. I mean, scary big. So big that they could kill you easily, there's not much question about that. Gentle tho.

I'm sorry for your loss...I know how you feel...I do- because I've had two beloved dogs that had to be put to sleep. Pearl (the pictured dog) is my favorite though and I can't even tell you how hard it's been...I had to put her in a cage (for the first time) to have her flown over and she just looked at me and cried like (what are you doing to me - and why...) and she's been in quarantine since August 28th. I went to see her every week for the first four weeks, and it was fun because I met all these other dogs in quarantine with her - but I haven't been able to go in the past six weeks because I've been opening this business and I'm working like 80 hours a week.

Dogs are the best, aren't they? Have you gotten another one? I know this question might seem insensitive - but after my last one got put down - for seizures - it was so painful, I said never again, and then two years later I got Pearl and honestly - she's the best - my life would have been so much less if I'd not gotten her - which I had thought I shouldn't as I never wanted to go through losing another pet/best friend again.
