He says it shouldn't count. It's a by hand recount. What say you?

@cjhsa,
I don't see a clear X completely inside the box.

@cjhsa,
Then don't pose questions. If you only want answers from people like you....you won't get any answers.

Oh, and your spelling stinks.

@cjhsa,
I used to come here to read intelligent stuff. I do read much of that when you are not on the thread. It is probably time that you grew up and learned to act like a man instead of a complete moron who could be bested by a 5 year old.

@Intrepid,
Waiting for people to grow up takes a very long time. May I suggest that you try the "ignore" button instead? It works wonders for my peace of mind.

@Thomas,
You are probably right. I guess I do find Mr. Don't Take My Guns a curious source of useless amusement.

@cjhsa,
cjHSa,

we already know your mental age... but what's your chronological age?

i'm guessing mid-to-late 40's, based on the photo with your kid.
but i find that damned hard to believe...

The Coleman campaign is challenging the above two ballots. Do you take them seriously?

@Cycloptichorn,
I might challenge the first, not the second. The reason being is that there was no true attempt to mark the first ballot correctly.

@cjhsa,
Why challenge the first? It's pretty clear who they voted for and Minn. public law allows them to count them if it's clear. The same reasoning that is behind the challenge of the first one is behind the challenge of the picture you showed in the start of the thread, Cj - a technical reading of the rules, not a question about who they intended to vote for.

Are you questioning your own judgment yet?

@Cycloptichorn,
No, as I stated, there is no clear attempt to fill in the ballot, that's all. The person may have checked it off as intending to vote for Franken, but, if they don't mark the box, they didn't really vote. It's possible they forgot to go back and mark the oval.

I would say exactly the same thing if the vote were for Coleman.

@Cycloptichorn,
Let me ask you this...

Do you really want Al Franken to be a senator?

The voter in question not only checked, they circled the square next to his name. It's entirely likely that they were confused as to the correct method, but two affirmative marks give enough evidence to count the ballot.

Has the vote plurality changed that much to give franken the election? Im not sure. Unlike Alaska , where Stevens got killed by the absentees and earlies, There seems to be no set dwindling of Colemans overall lead.
Let it go Al. as much as I hate to see the other guy win, theres always another year. Franken isnt a fossil like Stevens or McCain

Of course I do. He's a smart guy who is on the right side of several policies. Coleman on the other hand is a corrupt prick and an idiot to boot.
