@Reyn,
It gives the newest posts of all topics in chronological order. There is no longer an option to list only the newest posts in topics created in the last week or month, etc.

You can still sort the Popular Topics by the more flexible options.

Ok, great. Thanks for that. I just wanted to make sure that some topics weren't being cut off due to this.

Wouldn't it be more accurate to call the "New Posts" tab, "All Posts"? I suppose it's not critical, but it may be confusing to new members.

Also, something minor I've noticed. I'm missing the feature that when you reply to a specific post, it gives you a link to the post in which your answer appears.

Not really, the "New Topics" and the "New Posts" both show "All Posts" (for now, they'll need to cut off for performance reasons one day) and the sort is the main difference, not the filter.

If you mean when you reply to the first post, yeah it's showing up in the wrong place right now (should be fixed soon).

Here's a new problem I've noticed since the redesign was implemented yesterday. It didn't occur before yesterday. I waited to see if it would work itself out before mentioning it. Here are two screen shots that better illustrate the problem.

If you have some ignored users on a thread, the identifying line disappears from the screen as you are scrolling down the page. If you look at the two screen shots, the identifying line appears when the text is in the lower half of the screen. As soon as it reaches the mid point of the screen it disappears from the screen and remains gone as you scroll on by it. In the second screen shot, I did the capture of it at the exact point where it first disappears in hopes that would help if you were to compare the two screen shots side by side. It is a static event that occurs in every topic that has an ignored user, not a sporadic occurrence.

Noticed your test message, Nick, and then tried out the disappearing ignored person event. Thought I'd let you know it is now not occuring. Thanks for the fast response and fix.

@Nick Ashley,
This may or may not have already been noted but the "Reply to All" tabs at the top and bottom of the page are not functioning for me. I'm on FF 2.0.0.18

@JPB,
Check that -- it seems to depend on the thread. The Houston Nov 1 thread did not allow me to use the tabs - I posted via the reply button on the first post. The "Who Stayed..." thread allowed me to use the Reply All tab.

Edit -- this thread does not allow me to Reply All via the tab.

@kickycan,
Oh wow, me too. I think they've worked elsewhere but when I just tried on this thread, didn't work.

Can't you upgrade to Firefox 3.02, sozobe?
I have OS X 10.5 and it hasn't been a problem.

@JPB,
Can you confirm whether it's conditional on there being pagination on the thread?

This is great. I can read questions and reply once again. For some odd reason which i never got to the bottom of, on my laptop, Safari could open the site but the questions were formatted in a way that made them unreadable. In Explorer the questions could be read but the reply button didn't work. It was all a big fat drag but now, with the redesign, there's no problem. Readin' and writin' in Safari. Yay.

@Butrflynet,
The problem with the disappearing ignored user lines is occurring again tonight. I just cleared cache and rebooted the PC to be sure it wasn't something stuck in my temp files and it is still happening as described in the referenced post.

Anyone else noticing this problem?

@Butrflynet,
I did not notice anything;

@Robert Gentel,
That does seem to be the case. Randomly picking threads I was able to use the Reply All tab on 4/4 threads with a single page and 0/7 threads with multiple pages.
