You've been writing your own scripts too long Rex. It's all about money.
In China Christianity has been a growing minority religion for over 200 years. Growth has been more significant since the loosening of restrictions on religion after the 1970s within the People's Republic.
Quote:Homosexuality has been legal in the mainland PRC since 1997; it was removed from the Ministry of Health's list of mental illnesses in 2001. Same-sex unions and adoptions are not legal, and there are no anti-discrimination laws. Though men who have sex with men are included in anti-HIV efforts, gay relationships are censored from television and movies, and police raids continued in 2010.
Under an atheist government.
Taoism, the Paganism of China
Taoism is one of five religions recognized by the People's Republic of China. The government regulates its activities through a state bureaucracy (the China Taoist Association).
Does that sound like separation of church and state?
Is that truly a secular government that "regulates religion"?
Apparently you don't know what you are talking about.
And your point is?
We still don't have marriage equality and 14 year old gay boys are still bullied to the point of suicide... Catholic priests are molesting children wherever and whenever they can find vulnerable societies... the right wing are still carrying signs that read "god hates fags" and the religious christian right (if you want to even call them Christians) are still raising millions, as we speak, to stop marriage equality.
And I am polarizing society?
I am standing up for my human rights and if that is amalgamous to polarizing society then so be it.
Or... you just a homophobic bigot trying to tell gays what they can and can't do in the dignity of their own lives.
It is marriage INequality that is polarizing society not me. I am just a natural response to that inequality. This is my life's purpose, I was born this way and for this purpose will I stand and with those of my ilk who stand with me...
I stand firmly with the my gay brothers and sisters (and those who are willing to accept us) they are the church of my faith. All else grows from that common purpose. I will not be moved from that till we are free.
