History doesn't rely on the immediate fickle opinion of the general populace.
When the majority of Americans voted for Bush I hardly believe that you were A-OK with the will of the people.
The Bush legacy will not be fairly evaluated for, at least, another thirty years.
Chances are pretty good that I won't be alive to see history recognize Bush's contributions.
