Voted earlier today. I have never seen so many voters, in my district. I smell change.

Little ole' Falls Church did a great job getting their polling station set up. Huge turnout too.

I'll be happy with just 271. Anything above that and I'll be grinning from ear to ear.

I am hearing reports of long lines this evening at some precincts in VA. A judge reiterated that anyone in line at 7 pm must be allowed to vote regardless of how long it takes. He also said that any absentee ballot postmarked before 7 pm today must be counted as long as it is received by Nov 14th. That was in response to a McCain group suit arguing that a lot of ballots didn't get sent out to overseas people (read servicemen, a big "industry in VA) until too late to get a timely response.

Everyone I talked to today said they voted for Obama (About 40 people).

Michelle called us to remind us to go vote. (I feel special)

We have two bottles of wine, 7 layer dip, spinach dip, tortilla chips, pita chips, greek salad, veggie tray with dip, salsa, oriental noodle salad, cheese... I think we are ready to party if anyone wants to come over.

And... Oldest Cubs Mom is in Chicago... WITH TICKETS!!! I can't wait. And, yet I'm so scared.
