I'll just add one more thing. I have a renewed faith in my country tonight. After 8 years of a president who wiped his ass with our constitution, we elected a constitutional law professor to try to fish it out of the toilet. I hope he doesn't let us down. Churchill once called us a sleeping giant in a different context, I think we've woken up from our slumber.
Cheap domestic champagne has never tasted so good.
For this historic occasion, we bought the good one! Have a glass with us!

@eoe,
Incredible! The American voting public finally got something right -- it looks like Obama will be around double the electoral college votes which is basically a landslide. McPalin is suppose to make a speech -- I wonder how much crow she can get down her throat in a few minutes. Oooopps -- I just heard she is not going to speak. She's likely speechless (as if that's anything new).
Seeing the pictures of the African Americans crying and celebrating in Chicago,
makes me all choked up as well. It seems like, Obama will bring us all together.

Yours is at the bottom of the bottle. I'll get to it.
Yeh, I've conversations to have with Obama, but in the meantime I exhilaratedly happy.

@FreeDuck,
He won't let us down. But the recovery has only begun. And without the support from both sides of the aisle, nothing will be done. America's ass is still on the line but President Obama is the only politician that i can recall that truly wants to move us in the right direction. For the sake of all Americans and not just a chosen few.

The cherry on top of tonight's historic celebration will be a resounding defeat of Proposition 8 in California.
Without that, McCain's words will still have a hollow ring to them.
