@squinney,
Oh wow that's close!
AZ exit poll -- Latino vote 61% for Obama, 36% for McCain
@squinney,
See you in the Supreme Court then
@Setanta,
Reporting on my phone from McCain headquarters - not celebratory here, but plenty of Scotch here in the VIP room, so the mood is still festive. Jon Voight"s standing next to me!
@realjohnboy,
good the thread is working again!
We opend the Moet already to celebrate as Obama's win is already a fact! Now we're only waiting for the final electoral vote count.
North Carolina 71 of 100 Counties Reporting

They are coming in faster now!
@Ticomaya,
Hey, thanks for the report Tico!
Is the news on? There was something from Dana Bash saying that for a while it wasn't, and that you guys didn't know about PA or OH.

Don't even go there, Thomas.
@nimh,
Definitely a mountain versus plains thing. In the farmlands east of Charlotte, Obama is doing well. In the mountains, McCain is doing as well as Bush or better.
@Ticomaya,
Pinch his ass. I dare you.
I have been in and out, reading this thread all evening. They won't call it for Obama yet, but he has won. No doubt about it.
Have they called Indiana yet? Cause on the basis of these county-level data I'm punching into my spreadsheet I'm pretty sure Obama will win it.
Huge swings in small-town and rural Indiana. Very different from NC. Obama needs a 21% swing in the state, but in almost all the small- and medium-sized places he's getting that. And surely he must e able to get an even bigger swing in the big cities?
@Ticomaya,
Good to hear you're enjoying yourself regardless
@FreeDuck,
Nimh, yeah, remember that county up in the corner near Chicago that nearly gave Indiana to Obama in the primaries? (After Hillary had a goodish lead elsewhere.) I think that can be presumed to go heavily for Obama and I *think* it hasn't reported yet... lemme check...
@sozobe,
Big screen ... But it's FOX ... lol
ABC gave a really interesting stat about the number of attitude of families with income over $200 000. Clearly supporting Obama.
@sozobe,
Nope, it's in. 70% Obama, 29% McCain.
@sozobe,
Go Lake county.
(it's time for a positive from there)
@Ticomaya,
Heh!
Great to get on-the-spot reporting from you Tico -- what else is going on? (And have you pinched Jon Voigt's ass yet?)
@Ticomaya,
Order a double for your wife, and take a pic of her with Mr. Voight.
