What is the future of Stem Cell Research once Bush is gone? Are either Obama or McCain on record for removing the restrictions currently in place?

@rosborne979,
Interesting that you ask, NPR just did a little piece on the candidates that included McCain's stance on stem cell research. He used to support it more openly than he does now. Now he has more restrictions as to how stem cells should be used.

@littlek,
We shoud bear in mind
that all politicians know that what thay say
can keep them out of office,
and if McCain were to offend the theocrats,
thay might not go to the polls for him.

If he were for stem cell research earlier,
then there is a good chance, in my opinion,
that he will most likely free up the situation when he gets into office.

The very first thing that W did
after being inaugurated was to limit & curtail stem cell research.
McCain may not be perfect, but he is not a theocrat.

@littlek,
David, I was just stating the facts (as hazy as I might be about them), not judging the man.
