Would you use the word terrorist there?

Summary:

Asked about abortion clinic bombers, Sarah Palin told Brian Williams, "I don’t know if you’re going to use the word terrorist there". McCain sat by silently, just like he was silent after Palin ascribed the radical 2008 GOP Platform plank on abortion to him.

Well, would you use the word terrorism? The NAF has the annual statistics and the stories of murder, bombings and arson, going back to 1993; I created graphs to go with them. How widespread has the anti-abortion strand of domestic terrorism been? Are there any trends?

so, sarah doesn't know if she would use the word terrorist for those who bomb clinics and murder doctors, eh? i certainly have and do use that word.

but true to her evangelical whackjob beliefs, she thinks it's different when they do it.

is this a terrorist's thoughts; randall terry, founder of operation rescue:

Quote:
In 1993, Terry advocated hatred and intolerance as tools in achieving a Christian theocracy in the United States. He was quoted in the Fort Wayne Indiana News-Sentinel on August 16, 1993:
"I want you to just let a wave of intolerance wash over you. I want you to let a wave of hatred wash over you. Yes, hate is good.... Our goal is a Christian nation. We have a Biblical duty, we are called by God, to conquer this country. We don't want equal time. We don't want pluralism."

sounds exactly like bin laden to me...

@DontTreadOnMe,
It seems the word "terrorist" gets overly used, in my estimation. But, abortion clinic bombers fit the category.

yup. but somehow the fundis find it acceptable as long as it's in furtherance of their goal to turn the u.s.a. into the christian states of america.

have you seen the documentary "jesus camp", edgar?

Hence the word "worldview". The Jesus Camp people have no doubt that their way is Godlike, even though most of us are shocked at these zealots.

Terrorist is a fitting word arrived at after careful analysis.

and the thing is, i don't believe that all christians believe the evangelical nonsense. most that i encounter are just regular people that go to church, whether it's every sunday or just whenever.

that such a radical theology keeps being held up as "the real christianity" is right in line with the idea of "the real americans".

how about falwell? according to him, america deserved the 9/11 attacks. and robertson agreed with him;

these 2 numbskulls took almost no heat their opinions.

perhaps sarah can't find it in herself to condemn this stuff, but when kopp murdered dr. slepian, the republican governor, george pataki, saw it for what it was;

AMHERST, New York (CNN) -- A doctor who performed abortions was shot to death by a sniper in his western New York home Friday night in an attack denounced as "terrorism" by the state's governor.

"It's beyond a tragedy. It's really an act of terrorism and, in my mind, a cold-blooded assassination," Gov. George Pataki said of the murder of Dr. Barnett Slepian.

it's pretty apparent to me that sarah palin is only interested in the welfare of a certian kind of american.

just one more reason sarah palin is unfit for the office of vice president and, god forbid, president.
