The rest of 'us' already know, woiyo. You may have noted the lack of support your side of the argument has garnered to date.
Anyone can attempt to influence Senators to vote a certain way. That doesn't mean it's in their job description. The VP's job description does not include doing anything at all in the Senate besides breaking tie votes.
