Random skin scabs

Flash has odd .. scabs on his skin.
There are not very many.. manybe 3 or 4 at the moment.. but there is no reason for them that I know of.
Meaning, he isnt fighting... so they cant be from tooth marks..

he is not de-clawed.. it could be coming from his nails.. But I would not think an animal would scratch themselves hard enough to make themselves bleed with out there being a reason.
These scabs are only about the size of the tip of a sewing needle. So i know they are not from repeated scratching..

Im just.. confused as to why they are there?
Any ideas?

@shewolfnm,
I think it could be a couple of things. My cats used to get these in GA when we had fleas in the house. My remaining cat still gets them, but they're different now. He pulls his hair out. I laughed when the vet told me this was the likely reason. But, then I started paying attention - sure enough, he pulls his hair out (with his teeth).

Maybe also allergies, a rash, etc.

And, oh yes, a cat could scratch hard enough to bleed......

@shewolfnm,
Sounds like a skin infection.
