@rosborne979,
I dunno. Are frigid Alaskan bitches considered 'alpha females'?

@shewolfnm,
I find your use of a reference to manliness to refer to Sarah Palin is extremely insulting.

When a woman is mean, shallow and obnoxious... perhaps a reference to female genitalia is more appropriate.

@NickFun,
I dont think frigid would be an apt description of her with 5 kids. Perhaps male dominated would be more accurate.

@Sglass,
Let me put another spin on Sarah Palin. She's not a alpha female, but she is good at what she does as a politician. She knows how to talk the talk, and walk the walk. But look beneath the surface of her talk, and she is not only shallow but she lies and is mean spirited. She walks, but I don't even care for her legs. But conservative six pack men love her. Shallow.

alpha means leader of, it does not mean balls out.

Hillary is an alpha female, Palin is not, because women do not take her as an ideal female. She is a masculinized female, a bitch, which disqualifies her from leading the females.

@roger,
I thought that was the right's appellation for Obama.

@hawkeye10,
Uh, no.

She's disqualified because she's shown a willingness to abuse her power and doesn't know anything about some of the most important issues that would face a vice president or (FSM forbid) president, among other things.

Masculinization has nothing to do with it. In fact it's the feminization -- the winking during a debate fer chrissakes, the talk of lipstick and heels -- that I find more off-putting. I like strength. Simpering, not so much.

@sozobe,
You are talking about Palin being a leader of the people, I was speaking of Palin being the leader of the females, a different subject. Palin plays well with the men because a lot of men eat up her cutesy act, it does not go ever well with women. I think Palin loses respect of women because of how she acts, which is the opposite of the effect she would have on women if she were an alpha female.

@Sglass,
I dunno. How's an alpha female different from a beta, gamma or delta female? Or, as someone else has suggested, an omega?
