I just heard a commotion and looked out the window and both of my dogs have climbed the ladder into the treehouse. I wish I had a camera that worked so I could show you. I guess they will figure out how to get down? I hope?
@BumbleBeeBoogie,
Cute pic BBB -
I could put some food at the bottom to entice them back down and then shut the hatch - which is what the KIDS are suppose to do to keep that from happening.
@mismi,
how high up are they?
can you wait til the boys get home - send them up to keep the dogs company til the Professor gets home to sort them all out ...
@ehBeth,
About 7 feet up. If they were smaller dogs I would just go get them. But Biscuit is 50lbs and Pistol is 70lbs. This elbow won't let me get them down - last time it happened it was hard enough. I think I am going to have to call the professor to come home for lunch.
@mismi,
Aw, don't call him. Maybe if they suffer awhile, they'll lose their climbing instinct for awhile.
@roger,
I was more concerned about them NOT suffering and peeing up there...but - they are down. I think since the ladder is on a slant with wide steps it is not impossible - they just don't like to. Something must have happened to make them want to get down. But the hatch is shut now and doggies are safe on the ground again!
@mismi,
Does your cat chase cars?
@mismi,
Whew! Glad that emergency is over.
I do wish you had been able to take a pic. It would have been great fun to see it 'in person.'
