Well, due to the fact that I live and Germany and am still confronted with our terribel history [link: Hitler Begins Euthanasia Program], since I worked with handicaps (my sister-in-law is multiple handicapped), well under these premisses I definately say: no.

However, I fully agree that such may work with "very very strict criteria".

If I was ill and in pain and I chose to die by my own hand of my own freewill, I cannot see why any government or any group should decide my fate.
I don't believe in 'putting' down people because of so-called flaws, handicaps or mental deficiences ect. but if a person makes the hard decision they should not be second guessed by well meaning outsiders.
