We are already losers in many ways, but "hope" should reign eternal.

The Hillary followers who state that theyll "sit this one out" are fools. The very things that Hillary stood for are in danger of being lost by allowing the McCain klavern to be elected.
The long picture include several pieces of key legislation , further constriction of the middle class and continued rise of the oligarchs, and at least 2 new USSC justices.
To not vote is a dishonor to Hillary's fight, Im sorry butyoure wrong Bear.
We have a great candidate who is on the right side of the issues. Both people on the ticket are intelligent, strong and very good at talking about issues.We have more people than ever energized-- and we have a winning message.
Most of us are very excited about winning this election.

@farmerman,
I've given up on those small-minded people who can't see the consequence of their actions.
Bear. I have come to believe that Obama is the best candidate we can vote for at this time. Do I believe that he will really change washington? Hell no. But 4 more years of Bush policies is unthinkable. In the 53 years I have been voteing I have been able to vote for only one candidate I respected and they killed him. In this system we can only vote for the candidate that is closest to what we believe. I dont have any hope that any of them will do what is best for the country, only what is best for them and thier friends.
