It is possible to have leakage (normally the drain after surgery would remove excess fluid) so I would DEFINITELY contact the surgeon for reassurance and possibly a quick visit to the doc.
Internal stitches should be holding together - DO CHECK WITH THE SURGEON or your local GP rather than wait for a post-op check.
