OK, I guess Frank is being too subtle here, so let me try to help:
Aspirin, sheets, trains, artichokes aren't designed to kill people.
Guns are.
And that's why there are laws about gun use and not about those other items. Does that help?
The guns I own were never designed to kill people, they were designed to kill critters. Does that help??? Responsible gun usage begins with responsible hunting. Obviously you know nothing about it.
What kills most young people? Car accidents.
What kills most middle aged whites? Heart disease.
What kills most blacks? AIDS.
The message here people is to be responsible.

No, Frank, home defense.
"Imo busta light rail in yo ass!"
Guns aren't designed to kill people either. They are designed to shoot bullets. You can then shoot those bullets at targets, bottles, animals, or people. There are many other things you can shoot bullets at other than people.
It also happens to be a great source of defense.
I doff my hat, cjhsa and McG, re the hair-splitting you guys are capable of. Guns shoot bullets; they don't kill people. Got it.
Perhaps the new NRA mantra can be:
Guns don't kill people, bullets kill people.
Bullets don't kill people; bullet wounds kill people.
So, a Bow should be held to the same standards as guns?
