@Bi-Polar Bear,
I am just curious.
I care not what he says( that is intended to catch votes) but I am curious to know what he fails to highlight in his address.

Surely there will be billions of trillions of things that he will fail to highlight in his address

The way the convention and the man on the street have reacted to Palin, she should be the presidential candidate for the conservatives. They love her much more than they like McCain.

I was unable, unfortunately, to catch Obama's acceptance speech, so let me ask those who did: How many times did a conservative nut-job attempt to interrupt the speech?

We're about 10 minutes into McCain's speech and there have already been three liberal nuts making a scene.

@Finn dAbuzz,
If the answer is none, what does that mean to you? That your people are better than their people?

@FreeDuck,
I'll leave that question to you.

Somehow I suspect that you would find it significant if multiple right-wing nuts tried to disrupt Obama's speech -- but perhaps not.

Cool

@FreeDuck,
Or maybe they did, but the cameras just didn't cut to them.

I only saw one person actually interrupt the speech, but they kept on showing this other guy (at least 3 times), but I couldn't tell that he was causing any disruption to the stadium.

Those code pink people are pretty crazy though.

@Bi-Polar Bear,
Good speech. Scale of one to ten for political speeches, I'd rate it at least an 8,5 or a nine.

That of ocurse is compared to the dems best, Oinkbama, who can't even talk withou a teleprompter:

Its amazing how much a disaffected Republican sounds like a Democrat. The GOP wants change more than the Dems.
Funny no?

Or is it merely "Packaging the Candidate in 08"?

@farmerman,
No, not particularly funny.

You have assumed that Democrats have cornered the market on change

@eoe,
Yes he was, but, interestingly enough, he is a better speaker when he does not.

Can the same be said of Obama?

Oh yes. Especially when he confuses the Sunnis and the Shiites. He just speaks so well, and off the cuff too, on that topic, amongst so many others.
