@realjohnboy,
rjb, I think you maybe confused my lousy picks with someone else.

I have me doing considerably worser than 11-4...

@realjohnboy,
Quote:
4 players did very well, going 12-4. Edgar, Region, Ragman and Ehbeth, with Region clawing his way into the tie by picking NO. Total points scored
came to 80. Region and Ragman were closest, both picking the final game as ending at 27-24. I had to go down to the 4th tiebreaker (for the 2nd time this season) to get a winner. Region went 8-8 in Week #11. Ragman was 11-4.
Region wins the week. Congratulations!
thankee... heh, not bad for an erstwhile cellah-dwellah.

rjb prolly noticed i changed my strategy.
precisely what i did and why shall remain a secret... Mr. Green

@realjohnboy,
That drops Rockhead from a tie for 13th to 14th, pending any further adjustments to my not being able to count too good.

@realjohnboy,
Thanks and great work RJB. I don't recall anyone complaining about the tiebreaker rules. Certainly not me, at least. Thanks for clarifying.

Congrats Region! Well done on your win. BTW, I might not be reading your latest pix right, but I can't tell what your choices are. Did you goof or me?

Week 13 Thursday (only) picks. More by Friday/Saturday -

Thursday, early afternoon:
Tennessee @ Detroit. Lions get whooped early/often but Titans are in conflict and disarray

Thursday, late:
Seattle @ Dallas. She-hawks get whooped early and often

Thursday, night:
Arizona @ Philadelphia. Cards w/ lot to play for; Giggles too distracted

@Ragman,
Thanks for yall's picks so far. In my (and JPB's) twisted minds, it matters not a whit what the tiebreakers are as long as they are laid out in advance and lead to my ability to, at the end of the week, declare a winner. Tiebreakers 1-3 reward a player's prowess, but when we get to 4, I just want to see the puppy nailed down. We chose a stat that, in the spirit of this thread, was a bit quirky. Direct any complaints to JPB in Chicago

@realjohnboy,
As I wrote earlier, I have no complaints at all. The only reason I mentioned it originally is 'cause I thought we SHOULDN'T have the same tiebreaker score, as in -- I thought we had done so in ERROR. Vaguely, I recalled (maybe last season) the moderator asking those who had same score to pick diff ones. Could have been in a dream, too! Both you and JPB have done a great job.

The last few weeks have been very interesting games.

@Ragman,
You are right, Ragman. In the past (2+ years ago?), when we only picked the total points as the tiebreaker and there were far fewer players. I would ask people to change their predictions if it looked like it might end up in a tie. That doesn't work anymore with more players and the absence of private messaging on A2K to get in touch with folks who seem to be more on the go.
It makes things work a lot easier for me, me, me.

For Thursday, Tennessee, Dallas, Arizona;

The rest are marinating in some garlic, lemon, pepper, and olive oil.

@ossobuco,
Osso has QB's marinating in garlic, lemon, pepper, and olive oil?
Could you check on her, Foxfyre?

@realjohnboy,
No. I mess with a lot of things, but I wouldn't want to mess with one of Osso's recipes.

@realjohnboy,
Is there a man who wouldn't benefit from a little extra garlic and lemon?

I think not.

@ehBeth,
Well, whole teams, not just qbs but all the offenses, defenses, and coaching staffs are in the mix, quite a pile up. There should be fumes from the field on sunday..
