Our winner is Edgar!
Who da man? Who da man? W00t w00t!
He he. This is the first time in two years I have been anything but in the middle 0f the pack or lower.
Not that any of yall care, but the Board of Architectural Review voted unanimisously in favor of our project at 9 pm. There was a bit of concern because 2 of the members had to recuse themselves (they work for UVA, our neighbor) and another 2 were absent. But still the necessary quorom.
It was a huge hurdle for us to get over.
Now I need for yall to look under the cushions in your sofas. Can you find $22 million in there. We have financing, but we call the bank 3 times a week to make sure they are still in business.
Tonight was big. I will sleep happy.
@realjohnboy,
I've got about $6 in u.s. coins left from our last trip to NYC. Can I buy you a brick?
Congratulations to Edgar and the realjohnboy!
@realjohnboy,

Watch out, The Amazing Giorgio got some traction now!
@George,
(and an allergy to the gents...)
@Rockhead,
Don't you roll your eyes at
me, young man!
@realjohnboy,
Very good, RJ. Am happy for you and your investing folk and your architect and the drafter.. and for Charlottesville. Good job.
@realjohnboy,
Great to hear, RJB! The next time we get to Charlottesville, the Miz and I expect a tour of the new digs!
@edgarblythe,
Mucho Congrats, Edgar. You got me with that tie-breaker. Sure was neck and neck 'tween a few people here. What a crazy bunch of games, huh?? Congrats to all.
@Ragman,
Congrats, RJB. I, too, can afford a brick.
Congratulations realjohnboy. Heck of a project. I'll see how much I can get for this bushell of tomatos.

@realjohnboy,
we got some LCD issues...
(cough george cough)
@realjohnboy,
Just out of curiosity, wasn't I 8-6 on week 6? Not that it's much to brag about.
@Ragman,
Yes, Ragman, you were 8-6 (.572) but 12 of 20 of us were .500 or worse.
@realjohnboy,
ok..well, for a fee I can help you'se guys and gals out.
It constantly amazes me how each contest counts for so much in the weekly totals. Even those tie breakers matter.
