@farmerman,
I always have fun learning from you and others when the emotions are turned off and the intellect is able to succeed!

@farmerman,
Yes I do see your point, at least I think I do! I do not mean for all emotions to be turned off only those which suppress critical thinking!

@reasoning logic,
I think best when Im stressed and a little amused or angry.
I submit that critical thinking MUST involve emotions in order to empathise consequences best.

COurse with spendi and ANUS, its mostly fun n games.

@farmerman,
I can see your point to a degree but from my observations, "our emotions seem to get in the way for the most part! When our feelings are hurt or when we hurt other peoples feelings we or they seem not to be able to relate as well when we or they are steamed!

I could use a little more psychology to explain my point of view! A easy example to see this phenomena would be too exam a child that is balling {crying}! Try to hold anything close to a logical conversation with a balling child

@farmerman,
I am not sure that you or I disagree completely but I guess that I could be wrong!
I did not say anything was wrong with having fun but there is a line that can be crossed and then it goes from having fun to pissing someone off.

I think it is at that point when we have a break down in communication!

Could this have anything to do with how emotionally intelligent one may be?

@farmerman,
I am not saying that it is imposable for you to think best when you are stressed and a little amused or angry but I do find it a little odd!
What is the likelihood that a person you are conversing with would share the same way of thinking?

Spendius were you even able to watch the video without your emotions causing you to turn it off or to not give it a consideration on whether it was truthful information or not?

Try not to be so silly rl. I feel sure you are putting us on. It was pure crap. I told you to read Setanta's post. It laid it out so only an emotional person could be blind enough to think your offering was not crap and not trolling.

There have been madmen throught history attacking people with swords and bombs. One yesterday in Holland. Six dead. Infanticide has been well known for just as long. It has been routine at some times in certain places. Probably still is.

The only difference between 9/11 and many other mass killings of the past was the opportunity offered by the technology.

It's all the same. There are a lot of incidents to choose from. There are other explanations of why the events paraded took place.

It's only an asertion that the narrator was a Christian for 40 years. I don't believe it. It was put there to demonstrate how even a veteran of Christianity has finally seen the light when it only took wande, fm, ci., ros, and yourself as long as it took you to be able to get a hard on. My piety vanished at that time as well. The narrator's piety survived that stringent test for about 24 years. Which is a bit slow. Gumpy even.

He's now become like somebody who has given up smoking. Obsessed with having others see the light. Blissfully unaware, being a diddico, that there's another light. What James Joyce has Leopold Bloom say when he's done with shitting all over the Church at Paddy Dignam's funeral in Ulysses----"Still--there must be something in it." (Episode 6, known as Hades to scholars). What any honest man would say considering the evidence. The more so if he's an evolutionist. Just as there must be something in Australian aboriginal marriage taboos which eludes the understanding of anthropologists.

It's an insult to Western European Culture to say that there's nothing in it. The mark of ignorance in tandem with arrogance.

@spendius,
Spendius What does any of what you have said, "have to do with the evolution of Jesus? Are you commenting on another video that you feel passionate about?

Is that how you normally interact with people rl? You must have some very patient and understanding friends if it is. You wouldn't last five minutes in an English pub with that sort of shite.

@spendius,
I know it's off topic but I must say that the Masters was simply wonderful.

It is a belief that it matters how a bunch of obsessive practicers get round a fancy field going from hole to hole and needing a flag to help them to know where they are located except for when they get close up to them.

Heap big medicine is belief eh? Now for the vestements.

@reasoning logic,
I suppose that if Jesus can evolve so can a fossil. Galileo has certainly evolved in that way.

@spendius,
spendi, That's the problem with your bible jesus; he keeps evolving into somebody that depends on millions of people who interpret who he really was. Will the real jesus please stand up!

@spendius,
I am not able to follow you! What do you mean by Galileo has certainly evolved that way? When I researched the images of Galileo I was not able to find racial differences in them.
You must have some other meaning to your comment than what I am thinking about!
