A2K airdrop for a fellow member in Iraq

Hello fellow A2K members,

As some of you know, one of our A2K'ers, Seed, is in Iraq right now, and I got to thinking last night that maybe we could scare up some fun stuff to send him and remind him that the States are still here. Anyone interested? I'm looking for suggestions on what the best stuff to send would be as well as people's past experiences in the best way to go about this sort of thing.

Cheers

@Thomas,
Im not one to look a gift horse in the mouth. And honestly, cheese sounds so good right now. Mmm to have a nice big block to just chew on.

@FreeDuck,
I am in! I wouldn't tell though what's in the package - it should be a surprise
to Seed. Let's all send something to Cyclo, and he packs it up and sends
it to Seed.

@CalamityJane,
Yeah, CJ.

I'd rather work towards a request, though. Hate to send chedder, when he wants Goulda.

@CalamityJane,
That's a great idea!

Anyone who is interested, send me an email, and we can coordinate. I am willing to put the package together at my house and then ship it out if people can get stuff to me.

Some thoughts I had -

I need to research on what is allowed to be sent, and what isn't.

Space is a premium along with weight, so smaller is better, lighter is better, both is fabulous.

I also think funny is a big deal too. Everyone loves a surprise gift that makes them laugh.

I can be reached at Cycloptichorn at gmail dot com

Cheers

@Cycloptichorn,
the things you usually cant not send in regular mail still goes for what you can send me. no weapons, drugs, alcohol (makes me cry) that kind of thing. As of the surprise thing, that is great as well. If you are worried about sending something that can not be used, trust me, one of my battle buddies here will be in need or want what ever it is that I do not need.

@Cycloptichorn,
I donate all of my old American Rifleman and other hunt/fish magazines on a regular basis. Just a thought.

@Cycloptichorn,
How about spending our Christmas holiday in green zone in Iraq?
I was there and mysteryman as well.
Sould we not meet there as A2K members and solve our conflicting views?
This appeal i had made so many times.
Hope some dare to fix the date

@Seed,
Tell me what you like and I'll get you something. I take it paperback is better than hardcover right now.
