@DrewDad,
They do it in other boards, so I don't see any legal barriers or liabilities there.

@CalamityJane,
OK. I'm certainly not an expert on the matter.

If this one has already been mentioned then just consider this another vote for it.

Can the Report button be moved away from the reply button? It's just way to easy to click on it by mistake.

@FreeDuck,
Or just give the Report Button a different color of background. Make it a reddish color so we'll then have a red alert button!

On a completely inconsequential level, for the unhealthily introspective uebergeeks among us it might be cool, I was thinking, to be able to see on your profile what you best rated posts/answers are.

@Foxfyre,
i just tried this: click on Edit Tags (under My Tags) for the topic in question. Then, overwrite the tag you want to change with your new tag, and click TAG TOPIC. it might work.

This has probably been addressed already, but I would like a simple way to delete an incorrect tag in 'my tags' or one that I didn't think about before I entered it and then retag the thread just so I could neaten up stuff better. Another small thing but would be useful for me so again I presume it might be useful for others.

Was it a conscious decision to make (external) links open in the same window, rather than in a new one? On the old site external links would open a new window, I preferred that...

Here's a feature I would love:

If somebody posts to a thread and I have the website set to "Sort By: New Posts", I'll see that thread on top of the list (unless I've voted the thread down).

Unfortunately, that's also true if I have set that particular poster on "ignore".

It would be great if a thread that has been posted to would only appear on the top of my list if the last poster isn't set to "ignore".

@nimh,
Craven did say something about that, yeah. Something about giving people the option (with Firefox and I presume most other browsers, I can choose to open any link in a new tab).

I prefer that the default is opening in a new tab, too.

This is one with, like, priority zero minus, but hey, if a developer is bored for a second Wink - it would be great to be able to have (a) line break(s) in your sig.

Soz - oh that sucks. Ah well.

@nimh,
Hahah, already asked for that one - and a good answer was given: that would take up a lot more room then the current system.

@Cycloptichorn,
Yeah, it's a bit of a technological control where there used to be human control. The old site allowed you to do annoying signatures and here it's harder to do that, and thusly let's the site staff stay out of it for the most part.

The downside is that image avatars with dynamic signatures are no longer possible... RIP.

@Thomas,
I see you implemented the thread-by-thread "My Posts" too. Thanks!

But ... errrr ... not to be an ungracious prick, having requested this feature and all that ... but can you perhaps make it optional? For example, could you give us a radio button to toggle it? Sometimes I want the post-by-post view to see what my favorite correspondents are up to. It would be nice to have both the thread-by-thread-view and the post-by-post view.

@Thomas,
As soon as Nick stops stuffing his fat mouth and gets back to work he'll do it. But it's already past his work time so that also depends on whether or not he feels like working in his free time.

I don't know about you, but I recommend kicking Nick's ass! That'll learn him to be quicker.

(I'm kidding, he's plenty quick)

Good idea. I mean, how dare he leave his workplace at 8:30 PM EST after the outrageously opulent salary I'm paying him ? (Not!) How dare this man eat?! Before I'm fully satisfied with the site! If this kind of behavior continues, I'll have to get my money back from Jespah and -- get this -- leave the site!

(There! If Nick isn't scared now, I don't know what else to say.)

@CalamityJane,
Hhmm.. testing whether I saw that right, that this is a new feature... that if you reply to someone's post, you automatically give a thumbs up to it?
