Devriesj, do you use Safari? Just click on Safari in the top bar and there will be a dropdown list including "empty cache". Click on that.

What have you tried, Roberta? I signed in to it with my email address, and found an option that let me browse "My Pictures" on my hard disk. Does any of that sound familiar?

I have noticed something. Yes, the avatars are smaller. Apparently though, some of the smaller ones show up pretty well, while others do not show well in the reduced size, although they were fine in A2Ks previous incarnation. A member might want to check through the avatars to see what kinds of images are pictured in the best light on this new site. Some folks might want to change theirs.

My avatar shows up on my profile page but shows up as a black box on the individual posts. I'm not sure what I've done wrong. Any ideas?

....so NOW, I have a few pics at Gravatar...and it's featuring the one I prefer as my avatar...(how I conquered this feat is no less than a miracle); yet, it seems to have decided this other one would be shown on my profile. I tried selecting that pic for extermination, but no... I'm so stupid, dammit. Apologies to people who have to read this....

We can get you there.

1. Did you save your cheetah avatar to your hard disk?

2. If so, go the the gravatar place and register.

3. From memory, they send you a confirmation email. If they do, click on it.

4. Once registered, you look at the top of the page, and you will see "My account"

5. Hover your cursor over this, but don't click yet.

6. A drop down menu appears.

7. Click on "Add an Image"

8. It will say "Choose where you'd like to get an image from"

9. If you have your cheetah safely stowed on your hard drive, find it and click on it.

10. Then click on "Open"

11. Then click on Next"

12. A possibly funny looking picture will appear.

Let us know when you have gone that far.
