So what?
Same as when the new guy in the Hurt Locker said "I'm not trying to step into the previous guys shoes", and just set about defusing bombs HIS new better way, he never went around burning the official training manuals, he simply left them on the table..Smile
Same with Jesus, he did things HIS way but deliberately left the old laws on the table so people would have FREE WILL to choose to follow them or him, call it a test..Smile

Yeah...getting through to him is probably impossible. But the main point of A2K for me...is having a bit of fun. The Looney Tunes emoticon was part of that. Wink

Guys, guys, in the old days high jumpers used the old "scissors" and "straddle" styles until Dick Fosbury showed his 'Fosbury Flop' was much better.
Of course, the old ways are still there for people who want to stick with them.
Likewise, Jesus showed people a new better way (the clue is in the name NEW Testament), and people quickly cottoned on..Smile
"The law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ" (John 1:17)

Good of Jesus to come up with that "NEW" Testament name...and luckily, ever since it came into being, we humans have been absolute saints to one another.

The "New" made a tremendous difference.

Yes mate and I'd like to thank you on behalf of all the English for joining the US Air Force during the Cold War and keeping the peace by threatening to nuke Russki cities from your English bases.
Ivan would have dearly liked to get his hands on our pubs and fish n' chip shops but he never dare start anything while you and your mates were around to keep the peace and fulfill prophecy..Smile
Jesus said- "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God" (Matt 5:9)

Thank you.

All part of the wonderful world of peace and brotherly love that has existed since the "NEW" Testament came existence.

Yup, as you said...the clue is in the word "new!"

Well I've been with prostitutes in the past, so maybe I wasn't a real Christian in that respect, but if you ask any of them I'm sure they'll tell you I'm certainly a hot-blooded hetero who's oozing high-octane macho testosterone from every pore, right Sally?

"Right on baby!"

@The Pentacle Queen,
There are entities out there that has been placed deeply somewhere in our blood line we might not be aware of. It's not the person but the thought or act of the relationship. What is your thought process of this person, is it something that someone may feel in the way of a woman, brother or sister? It's never the person true christians blame but the nature of the iniquities that may have been passed on within the blood.

Romans 1: 26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
