Democrat/Republican Practice/Theory

I said rl and liertarians. Did not call you one.
It is ancient history the last time I supported a Republican. When will I do it again? Never, in the context of the current political landscape.

You can call me what you will. Only I know the real truth, and that ain't it. You and most other people are not happy if you cannot affix a label to define someone. It doesn't always work like that.

If it walks like a Democrat, and talks like a Democrat, and votes like a Democrat, and is embarrassed to be called a Democrat, it's definitely a Democrat.

I spent most of my life wavering between Democrat and Republican loyalties. As I gravitated to the Democrats, they gravitated away from the qualities that attracted me. I would have been a loyal Democrat, if the party had remained steadfast in principle and action. To insist that I am a Democrat is to not accept the facts of the situation.
