I am from India and I am currently staying in CA.I often call India to my home...but its very costly to make international call..

Somebody suggest me any services which can provide low cost international calls.
Try skype.com - from there you can talk computer to computer or
from your computer to a ground line. It only cost around 2 cents/minute,
however you have to deposit an amount to skype prior to calling.
Don't worry, it's all legitimate.
If you have an Gmail account and the other person does too then you can get yourself a headphone/mic and speak for FREE! Just email each other so you can coordinate times.
Just phone a help line and you will immediately be conected to India.
Sorry....couldn't resist
on the odd chance that the person you are contacting doesn't have/use a computer you can get inexpensive prepaid minutes at onesuite.com. I use it regularly for international calls. Calls to India are about 5 cents/minute. My calls to a friend in the UK cost 2.2 cents/minute.
if you want to use a phone card, look at uniontelecard.com there are many options to choose from
