Nazi liberal gun grabbers just refuse to learn, and defy the nations highest court. Heller should just shoot the bastards.

DC Rejects Heller Handgun Application

Word is that Heller attempted to register a semi-auto. Turned down. This could go back to court and DC will lose.

WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- District residents can start registering their guns today. But at least one very high profile application was already rejected.

Dick Heller is the man who brought the lawsuit against the District's 32-year-old ban on handguns. He was among the first in line Thursday morning to apply for a handgun permit.

But when he tried to register his semi-automatic weapon, he says he was rejected. He says his gun has seven bullet clip. Heller says the City Council legislation allows weapons with fewer than eleven bullets in the clip. A spokesman for the DC Police says the gun was a bottom-loading weapon, and according to their interpretation, all bottom-loading guns are outlawed because they are grouped with machine guns.

Besides obtaining paperwork to buy new handguns, residents also can register firearms they've had illegally under a 180-day amnesty period.

Though residents will be allowed to begin applying for handgun permits, city officials have said the entire process could take weeks or months.

There is nothing to laugh about. They are violating his civil rights. I hope he slaps them with a civil rights lawsuit. The issuers are in contempt of court, and should be jailed - or lynched.

I don't find that funny at all.

He has a civil right not to have his application for a gun permit rejected? Smile

He has a right to own the gun and keep it in his home without a bunch of bureaucraps trying to tell him otherwise. It says so right in the Bill of Rights and the USSC agrees.

You have a problem with that? I seriously suggest you STFU.

He has a right to apply for a permit to do so, and if both he and the firearm qualify, then he can legally keep the gun in his home. Heller specifically mentioned the state's right to a reasonable permit process.

I think that a little more accuracy on your part would make your comments more informed and substantial, but less amusing Laughing

There's a lot of us that are angry.

Liberalism is for the braindead.

And do all of those angry gun nuts want to lynch somebody, like you? Or are you an angry exception?

Don't kid yourself... there aren't that many of you (compared to the number of us).

You guys don't even have enough support to get a decent candidate nominated to represent you.

((The fact that you are going to pull the lever for McCain... who has supported anti-gun legislation... makes this even more funny))

Sure. What evidence are you going to produce to settle the bet?

Well, that's not very accurate; you see, I am personally a gun owner myself, and I reliably will vote against you gun nuts each and every time.

I ask again: what evidence are you going to produce to settle the bet?
