Ever had sex with your wife to assuage her concerns that you do not think of her as desirable, and not because you're really wanting it?

Marriage used to provide access to sex. Now it provides access to celibacy

Throughout most of the history of European people from the period of the collapse of Roman imperial authority in the west of Europe up until and even well after the Great War, most people who either indulged in sex for personal gratification or for reproductive purposes were not married. Marriage was not common among European peoples, which includes the majority population of North America since about 1700.

The purpose of marriage throughout the history of Europe has been to secure rights in property.

The answer to this question is no. If I'm going to have sex I'm sure as hell going to enjoy it.

Much like it is today. I always have more sex when I'm not married than when I am. That's why I'm single.

Well, I think many Americans are sleep deprived, over-worked, and have a poor diet, eat and drink too much, and whine alot.

I wonder how things are in other countries, or in other cultures. Like deep in the Amazon.

I think the adults are happier and laugh more, and are more playful with their spouse.
