Is there a world to cover those small traders who carry bundles of garments and things across boraders to sell in bazaars or on sidewalks?

Can you think of a jocular way of addressing these people, a little disparaging, not the regular sort of importers?

Such people are called pedlars. The ones who cross borders are often called "cross-border pedlars".
