The point is to find out what is causing the heartburn. There are some conditions that cause "heartburn" that could be quite serious, others just annoying. Check it out with a gastro doc.

Take a Prilosec. They're over the counter, highly effective, and last for 24 hours.

Brandons right, I had a case of acid reflux for awhile.

Dr. said what she would perscribe was prilosec, which I could buy myself.

It did work. I had to take it every day for a while, until my condition resolved itself.

how long have you had this heartburn? I mean reoccuring?

I know your pain bear, it really hurts.
