Suffer the little children to come unto me . . .
From out of the mouths of babes . . .
(Christophobe--that's a really crappy neologism--did you invent that? If so, i'd say, don't admit it. For such a usage, though, you wouldn't capitalize it, except at the beginning of a sentence.)
Fundamentalist Christian nut jobs already think homosexuality is an abomination, based on scripture, and they are not averse to publicly ranting about it. Visit "godhatesfags-dot-com" sometime for what is arguably the most virulent example of this outlook.
As for seeing christians as crusaders, that is a common view in the Muslim world. When Mehmet Ali Agca attempted to assassinate the Pope in 1981, he stated that he wanted to kill the leader of the Crusades. (It's a rather hilarious side note that he was tackled by a nun, and that's how they caught him.) Many Muslims believe that the Crusades have never ended. When you have a jackass like the Shrub who invades two Muslim nations in less than two years time, it tends to confirm the notion in their mind. The first one, Afghanistan, was understandable in the simplistic, tribal terms which dominate the thinking of many Muslims--revenge. They might not like it, but they certainly understand it.
The invasion of Iraq, however, made no sense on such a basis. The Shrub should have billed it as revenge for the insults to his father and the attempt to assassinate Pappy Bush--they'd not only have understood, they'd have approved.
Mahmoud, the evil Bush is attacking Islam! He's invaded Iraq.
No, Ali, you are being foolish. He is taking revenge for the insults to his father, and the attempt Hussein made to have his father killed.
Ah, to have such power--what i couldn't do to those Wahhabis in Medina if i had that kind of power!
