Try to see it my way,
Do I have to keep on talking till I can't go on?
While you see it your way,
Run the risk of knowing that our love may soon be gone.
We can work it out,
We can work it out.
Think of what you're saying.
You can get it wrong and still you think that it's alright.
Think of what I'm saying,
We can work it out and get it straight, or say good night.
We can work it out,
We can work it out.
Life is very short, and there's no time
For fussing and fighting, my friend.
I have always thought that it's a crime,
So I will ask you once again.
Try to see it my way,
Only time will tell if I am right or I am wrong.
While you see it your way
There's a chance that we may fall apart before too long.
We can work it out,
We can work it out.
Life is very short, and there's no time
For fussing and fighting, my friend.
I have always thought that it's a crime,
So I will ask you once again.
Try to see it my way,

Walt, the fact that I'm dealing with a bunch of smelly hippies here at A2K is a foregone conclusion.

You crack me up sometimes CJ.

You really think that it is the black population that is the strain on society while gun toting republicans like yourself get 100,000 tax breaks for purchasing over sized hummers.

Give me a goddamn break.

just as a side note, the average "welfare" payment is between 8-1100 dollars a month.

That would take almost 10 "welfare" people to equal one hummer purchase tax break.

10... per one vehicle.

and that is just ONE example of the 'upper class' putting a strain on the economy and taking advantage of the tax laws...

Yet, ONE upper class person getting a high tax break is nothing right.....?

I mean.. sheeesh.. white people deserve that 100,000 since black people no longer take care of them huh?
yet black people dont deserve 800 possibly less to take care of their family. Simply because they are black.

Generally.. I can see simple humor in some of your posts.. and I can get you.
This time.. your just being racist.

How exactly does one go about getting a tax break for purchasing a Hummer? I'd sure like to know. Their is a luxury tax on them, a gas guzzler tax, and a huge amount of sales tax and gas purchase taxes to boot. So I don't follow.

You're making **** up.

What..

the point that white people are assumed to be working and giving to the economy?

There for 100000 is ok for them to pocket ? Especially when that money is coming out of your pocket?

or are you talking about people ' taking advantage of the system' and not working?

Most people who have a lot of money, DONT work because they dont have to.
And they dont need over size vehicles either. It is called living in excess with un necessary things.

But it is ok for THEM to take advantage of the system and run out to buy a vehicle that gives them almost the full cost of one of those vehicles BACK in tax payer cash.. instead of giving someone a measly 800 dollars to feed their family.

THATS ok right?

For those of you that obviously didn't get past the fourth grade, whenever anyone says "I'm from the government, and I'm here to help", it's time to run away, far, far away.

but your joke doesnt stop there.

In includes the assumption that black people will run from work.

so how canthat part be ignored?

would it be funny if Bush were standing there and GI's were running from him to avoid the war?

Really?

Because that is what is happning.

And no one talks about THAT.. instead.. they talk about welfare.

Yet the cash amount of tax payers money that is given to them is NOTHING compared to stupid tax breaks like buying an unnecessary , pointless oversized vehicle, or home.

5 people can buy the h3, and get almost ( Or is it the H2? which ever one is over 7,800 lbs) and get almost 1/2 a MILLION in tax breaks.

Yet, put 5 poverty families side by side and theya re lucky to see 10,000 a year.

Sorry.. that should not be ok by anyones standards..
Im not saying give the poor people more, Im asking why do the rich get richer and yet the spotlight stays on those barely getting by?
How is THAT a fair economy?

but, since i got past the 4th grade, that may not make sense to most people.

Sure enough, tax-savvy self-employed professionals such as doctors, dentists and yes, accountants, connected the weight of today's luxury SUVs with the obscure tax loophole and started sporting heavy iron in order to deduct the entire purchase price in the first year. Which might explain why traffic lanes have seemed a little narrower lately.

Your own link contradicts what you are saying.

At the same time, it actually helps my case.
