Aid workers raping, abusing children for food

don't hate people.... just don't expect anything out of them....

Sad to say that I've been aware of these things for more than ten years now..

I don't like people because they rape them and the rest (or to many of us) do nothing. When are we just going to raise an army and just start letting lose on all these types of people. People do this type of thing because they know certain people have no protection and nothing will happen to them.

In fact we would probably be prevented from even starting this kind of army.

Children, the elderly, the handicapped.

Of course the raping of children is horrible.

It's just as terrible the way some of the elderly and disabled are forced to live.

I've seen old people who were literally starving to death because the family or other supposed caregivers chose to make them live that way.

Bedsores down to the bone, living on urine and feces covered mattresses. Getting raped and abused as well.

I don't know which is worse, someone being treated like that and having their mental facilties intact, so they can feel each indignity, or having altzheimers, dementia or retardation, where all you know is that you're in pain.

You could go into the houses in any burg in the richest countries of the world, and see this. More than most people would like to believe.

Not negating your feelings shewolf, far from that. I feel the same anger, and, hopelessness.

I have seen many of the elderly cases.

When i worked in nursing homes in new mexico, most of them had a certain percentage of rooms that were either given free to help someone, or saved for abuse cases.

One woman came in from living with her daughter , not able to walk and weighing in at almost 300 lbs.
She was MAYBE 4'8 at best..

I rolled her over and found two holes in her spine and one on her butt that was as big as my fist.

Bed sores.

Her family just fed her and left her in her room.
SHe was covered in her own urine and feces and was scared of people.

After a few months she began to calm down and begun to trust some of us. She was a real sweet woman. I adored her.

She died from those infections.

I truly think that repositioning her and moving her around was what allowed that infection to travel the way it did. I would almost say that she was in such a place that staying STILL may have been something that would have saved her life.

eh. what can you do.


I also worked at a nursing home were one of the RN's burst a womans stomach giving a feeding tube that was too big. He said he was tired of hearing the woman moan. She was a car accident victim that left her like that Terry Shiavo woman at the age of 23.
He was pissed off while he was changing her tube and decided not to get a smaller one... just force the one he had on her.

He killed her. He forced that tube into her body, then proceeded to increase her drip almost 2 times what it was set for.
He was still allowed to work months after that too.

Abuse is just fkng wrong. Taking someones power, dignity and self worth, no MATTER the age is just unacceptable and inexcusable.

But, for some reason.. I feel more for kids and retarded/mentally handicapped people then I do for.. regular people.

At least regular people can seek help. They can DO something to prevent it. They can FIND someone to help them.

The worst thing is, we all believe that can never happen to us.

I know you've encountered this shewolf.

Getting to know someone, finding out their life history, their joys and sorrows, and you know they had the same life any one of us here had.

You end up waking up in the middle of the night wondering if one day you'll wake up and have to go to the bathroom, and no matter how much you call for help, no one comes.....then, you suffer the not so gentle treatment from a caregiver or family member who's mad because you messed the bed.

The workers raping these children, using their powers, they are the same "type" of people who do this to the elderly/handicapped.

It's all bad. All of it.

I was talking to this sweet little lady once. She really was sweet, didn't make problems, never complained, always had a kind word. She was a frail little thing, and the aides had to dress her, put on her eyeglasses, etc. Anyway, I looked closer and said "what's wrong with your nose?"

I went to take off her eyeglasses, and when I pulled them, I realized one of the nose pieces had fallen off, and left that sharp metal piece. It had GOUGED this red angry hole in the really soft spot on the side of her nose. This was NOT a wound that happened that morning. She'd been sitting there day after day with a sharp piece of metal jammed into her flesh, because some stupid bitch of an aide couldn't be bothered to treat her better than a bag of dog ****. She had all the power, and I think got off on it.

Did the aide get fired? Of course not. Are all aides bad? Hell no, most are hard working decent people.

Same for the aide workers, not all of them are rapists, but the scum who want to use their power do get off on this stuff.

It made me sick to my stomach to see these women being paraded in front of people naked, to the showers...

men being made fun of because they had an erection.

Children forgotten to be fed because they can not make a noise to remind people they are there and the aides too damn lazy to make the effort to get the kids up.

I should not only refer to aides.
I should also refer to the nurses, the house keepers, the RNs , the doctors , the on call, the temporary.. fk'em all . There was not one 'class' of person I have not seen behave that way.

That's really sad, She... I have two nurse friends and have not heard this before. That's actually sickening.

Take any group or population and you will find saints and sinners. We produce both the best and worst of our kind in every corner of the globe. I like to think the best of humanity will one day rule the earth, but more and more I think it will be like that movie "Road Warrior" where all the remaining people will rape and kill for food and gasoline.

Oh yeah.
On record, I appear to be this horrible criminal / felon because of one such doctor. Granted, I did not need to fight back in the way that I did.. but that was my breaking point. I will never look back at that profession and miss it in the least.

The sad part is that since these people are older members of society, no one gives them any power.. any CARE really. They just figure they will die when they die and those people who think they should NOT die are wrong.

Twisted logic.

I remember this man ... I will call him Dale.

Dale was brought to the nursing home I was working at on Juan Tabo because he had broken a hip at the ripe old age of 61 .
Of course I am not serious that he was old. At 61 you still have a lot of living left to do and Dale truly did. He was simply with us for rehab because he was abit overweight ( about 50lbs) and it was making recovery take abit longer.

No biggie.

Dale did everything for himself, he just needed help catching his balance in the mornings and other times when standing after an hour or so of sitting. He could get himself up and off the toilet and in and out of the shower so no reason to really have anyone assigned to him.. he could call out for help standing if need be.

After 2 weeks Dale got the hiccups.
HIs hiccups were LOUD and racking his body. Himself and his wife together had decided on a DNR order about a week before he arrived at the nursing home. Both had odd mental illnesses in their families and were worried that, at their age, some may surface in THEM and they did not want to live like that.

2 days later, Dale still has the hiccps.
I gave him a muscle relaxer that he had but never used thinking that would help his body to stop hiccuping.
It did.. for about 5 hours. The pill wore off... Dale began hiccuping again.. and I went home.

Before I left, I called his doctor and left a message with his nurse about Dale asking if he could be examined in the coming week to make sure nothing else was wrong.

6 am next day.. Night nurse is making her AM rounds and finishing her charting. My 2 aides are there.. also making their morning rounds with the night aides . Im at the front desk when one screams at me to get in there.

I race into Dales room to find him in a pool of blood. DRIED blood.
It came out of his mouth, out of his rear and even out of his penis.
he was bleeding internally the entire time and was literally filling with blood.. hence.. all the hiccuping.
Not realizeing he had been that way for a while.. I tried a few compressions, but every time I pushed.. blood came out. Someone had gotten the D.O.N and she was watching me from the doorway and screamed at me like a damn banshee to stop it.
I tried to explain to her why.. but she would not let me.

granted.. there was no saving him.
But if it had been a few minutes earlier..

or that little lazy ass night nurse had made her rounds and handed out her meds like she should ,t hat man would not have lain dead like that for so long. And a few chest compressions would have helped.
In his case.. at that time.. I would have absolutely disregarded the DNR for a second before calling for help.
I knew him. I knew his wife, and I knew the reasons they had that DNR made.
Sort of reverse on the whole " dont act too quickly" idea.
There are situations for both.


Urgh.
I always get worked up remembering that job.
I loved it with every fiber of my being then I thought..
Now that I look back, it was the most suffocating, degrading, stressful job I have ever had. I would never.. EVER do anything like that again.
