During the week of May 15, 2008, the Senate had three opportunities to increase the domestic production of oil and help ease our economy's dependence on foreign oil. All three times the Democrats voted as a block to deny passage of critical oil liberating legislation....

Wretched, evil, shit4brains bastards.....

Here's hoping it starts to get cold BEFORE the elections, and people get some idea of what paying five dollars a gallon for heating oil for the benefit of de-moKKKer-RAT tree hugers, bears, and caribou is going to be like before they cast their votes.

Wretched, evil, shit4brains bastards vote to invade canada and topple it's government for oil under the guise of bringing democracy to a despotic nation. Yes, it's true, wing nut conservatives vote in block to take whatever resouces they need to keep their running to the gun shows.

Then again, if people start getting the idea that they're being ordered to die for the sake of bears and caribou, they might get the idea that they need to shoot and/or poison all of the bears and caribou...

As the price per gallon of gas climbs, popular support for prohibiting oil drilling in Alaska and off shore CA and FL will fall.

Barring a significant drop in oil prices, domestic drilling will happen.

Whatever the American people may be, Luddites they are not, and the radical left notion of giving it all up for Mother Earth is just not going to have any traction.

Of course people might actually watch the news and see that drilling in Anwar will only drop oil $0.75 a barrel. With oil at $130 a barrel that $0.75 isn't going to bring gas prices down much.

We can do a lot more by reducing our consumption by 5% or even 10%.

now that we've allowed the oil people to get away with it.... what short of armed insurrection and hangings in the public square do you think would give big oil any incentive to discontinue f*ckling the public and making profit?
