im sick of it, basically all that propaganda they **** out of their mouths is the same **** gangs **** out of their mouths to their recruits.
DO WHATEVER U WANT IF NOT USE VIOLENCE AND INTIMIDATION TO GAIN RESOURCES TO EXPAND OUR POWER.
and im also sick of hearing IT DOES NOT MATTER IF THE LAW IS WRONG OR UNJUST OR UNFAIR, THE LAW IS ALWAYS RIGHT.
Thats the truth, ill keep sayin' it.
it sucks knowing that gangs and governments are the exact same thing.
Whats worse is people who talk about gangs have never even been to a ghetto, they just know what others tell them.
its just ridiculous, i hope the united states can survive this level of corruption and blatant disregard for its citizens.
Have fun moving into that apartment and then losing your job and then not being approved for that college loan.
No one is going to answer you, dude.
Sorry.
sshhhh
be quiet
im hunting wabbits.
ur sig is awesome shewolf.
i had to smile when i saw this ad next to OGINIK's entry :
POLICE JOB TRAINING

hbg
oh yeah sorry if u think police r the best or whatever.
I know wrong is wrong, unlike them.
there are exceptions of course, but few and very very far between.
damn, it just hit me, maybe im wrong. damn that sucks.
weird, i always tried to find the absolutel truth behind things, to live a righteous life without harming others.
I guess maybe i need to learn that sometimes the wolf needs to kill the baby deer, or else the wolf starves to death.
Im the baby deer. oh well. i mean if the only people being hurt are the poor people i mean not everyone is poor, poor people most likely dont make up that high of a percentage of the population so i mean its better that the police have a higher income and stuff yeah damn.
maybe i dont matter compared to the rest of society. nobody ever got anything without hard work and sacrifice.
how much good do the police do other people?
i never thought of that.
eh.
For the most part police are humans just like you and i
But I have had my run in with some less then favorable , over the top ass wipes.
I appreciate what the police do.... but I have to question the person who would want a job that gives them that kind of 'power' over others..
I firmly believe the people who would make great police officers are the ones who would never want that job
lol guess whos had a life chaning experience on a2k and is about to click that police job ad!!!!
ta-da!
naw im kidding. now way in hell i could be a popo
for real i judge them too harshkly, i mean they r only human like me, i just dont factor in the good they do for other vs the bad they do to me.
i guess im selfish haha. but yeah im not gonna judge them anymore.
(for who am i to judge?)

Amen brother - folk that talk about forking over the guns don't realize, unless the crime in question is speeding, the PD show up afterward...
wow exactly, lol nice statement hit it dead on.
detectives do the real work, they find the kid, they solve the murder they find the car.
police are merely ticket salesmen. get that quota.
Don't tase me, bro, but I've lived in the ghetto and I think gangs are absolute frikken scum.
The police can't be all bad.
It seems they let OGIONIK have a computer after they arrested him for being drunk.
What on earth could they have been thinking of?

This can't be the first time, OGIONIK. Is it?
Ogionik, you are painting with a broad brush. I agree with you on some of it and entirely dismiss you on some of it.
I, and we, get that you are angry.
I'll venture that we all want you to go to school.
Tell us more about the scholarship thing.
I made some stupid decisions on that myself, not applying again.
My father made good money one time in a number of years and then never again.
It didn't occur to me to ask another time.
Please don't just whiff off.
Rage while applying is not the best way.
Part time cops - I've met a few good ones and some real swine, but I think they, in a better-defined role, are the solution to a lot of it. I mean, a cop gets killed in-the-line now, what's it to me, they've got M-16's in the trunk, most of 'em are tough-guy alpha-male types, if someone chooses that life and it bites 'em, fine, people have gotten killed in my grandmother's line of work. That and they don't know, don't mix with the customers, can't tell you the times I see them pulling over folk at 5:30 compared to midnight, so they want to write a nice easy fine rather'n maybe stop a drunk or lay down preventative presence - whereas part time cops can see things from the civilian point of view, go out drinking with other civilians.
There's this precedent, the Posse-Comitatus Act, it's taken on a lot of meanings (Gordon Kahl - American Outlaw, heh heh heh), but the kernel of truth is that we don't sick the military on the citizenry. If you think about it, it's a very important check. Anyway, like I said, you've got these swat teams, the alpha-male mindset, full-auto rifles a civilian couldn't own - and here's the big thing - the pigs don't know you or me from Cain, so if the Fed did tell 'em to put the screws down, we know what team they'd play for so it's the same damn thing as the military but run by dipshits in isolated, almost terrorist-like local cells...
Now you say, replace one full-timer with three part-timers, then we got poorer-quality employees going in harms way and acting on the name of the law - bad news. Kindof, but it depends on the functionality of the officer, which I'd say could use some order put to it anyway. Like I said, the PD hardly ever intervenes. The Japanese are cool with it, their patrolmen look like approachable little boyscouts. I'd say any district that's run right could convert 4/5 of it's force to non-intervention-type officers, write tickets, accident reports, keep the peace, domestic disturbances, and be the eyes and ears for the few, select full-timers. Fully passive - they'd have to work in pairs and watch their ****, obviously Compton isn't ready for it, but it's just a matter of pushing the cost-of-poor-quality in terms of high-end crimes back to detective/investigation types that can actually solve the problem elegantly. And it would get the right people, people who don't want to be cops for the power-trip - compared to that folk doing it for the money would be fine by me.
I hate those damn light/speed cameras, I mean, if someone don't take the time to write a ticket why should I take the time to deal with it, it ties back, abstractly, to Posse Comitatus, like let the county (in the sense of people, not equipment) maintain it's peace. That said, a big problem initially would be making charges stick, but the need for legal reform, not to mention transparency/quality-management in law enforcement ain't news to me.
Corruption - it would happen, but it already does. Does anyone here not know a cop that does perhaps landscaping or work on cars on the side? Money laundering, or even if it's not, if they're going to have a side gig, I mean, if they're not going to take their job seriously. With part timers we could insist that the regular gig be over-the-table. More importantly, it would make the 'blue code' harder to enforce.
Would there be enough folk to do it? Not as such initially, but it's just a matter of opening the door. Many employers, and more still if the Dems had their way, are shifting toward part-time jobs to avoid committing to benefits (look at what UAW did to GM, can't blame 'em) - so a part-time job with benefits would fill in the gap for folk nicely. It wouldn't be a bad life, one paper-pusher/burger-flipper job and one that would at least be outdoors and stimulating. Also, I see in the near future different shifts getting bigger, everyone doing 9-to-5 is tough on the power-grid/infrastructure so shift coverage will get easier...
